The Ridley Eye Foundation is currently seeking applications for funding of projects whose aim is the reduction of severe vision impairment and blindness caused by cataract in Africa and Asia.
Our funding is channelled through recognised organisations such as hospitals, universities, and registered charities.
Grants up to a value of £10,000 will be considered. Support for training or research in paediatric cataract surgery or promoting access to better care of children with bilateral cataract in Africa will be especially considered.
Applications should be made in writing to the address below, and provide as much detail as possible, including how the project will be managed and how it will intergrate into current services or research. Please indicate any funding already obtained to date, and include a copy of the organisation's annual report and accounts with the application. The Foundation does not have a standard application form.
The Trustees meet quarterly to discuss grant applications received, with the closing date for this round of applications being June 16th 2017.
